Стоимость оценки квартиры для ипотеки сбербанка! How does testing for coronavirus work in Lithuania? To be honest... In Vilnius, it doesn't. Medics themselves think that coronavirus is a joke. They believe that people are panicking and imagining things.
Two women who came with an ambulance to take us to the Infectious Diseases Center didn't wear any glasses. They came into our apartment, checked our temperatures and listened to our lungs. One of them kept removing the mask of her face. When I asked why are they not dressed properly, the answer was - we're tired of it already...
We got into the ambulance. We had no masks at first - they were all sold out in Vilnius, couldn't buy any (with 0 cases in the country...). One of the women asked another - should we give them masks? I don't know, probably... - the other answered. Then she gave us a mask each. When we were getting out of an ambulance, one of them coughed.
They let us out and once I asked where to go and what to do, she told us to go inside and wait. Someone is going to come and check us in a couple of hours. She wasn't familiar with the building at all, said she's never been inside.
There was no one at the reception. While we were waiting, a nurse passed us. No protective clothing, no reaction to random people with masks waiting by the entrance.
When we were finally interviewed by a doctor and a nurse, they weren't wearing any glasses or proper clothing either. The doctor also coughed...
It was scary to see how irresponsible and underequipped the staff actually is.
The facility itself is really modern, safe and clean, but if the medical staff isn't given better protection and keeps dismissing the possible threat of an epidemic in Lithuania - nothing will help - they'll be the ones spreading the disease.
